Craps, a casino dice game, involves a lot of strategy and action with both money and dice.

Understanding how to play casino craps requires that a player understands the craps table personnel as well as where they are located. Dealers, boxpersons and stickpersons are the most commonly used table personnel in craps games at casinos.

The boxperson oversees the game and is responsible for managing the craps table. The supervisor must also manage the chips and resolve any disputes between players and dealers. Play craps

The 2nd base dealer is the dealer on the right side of the boxperson. Any craps player who is on this side of the game will be on the 2nd base side. This is best remembered by looking at the field. Number two is located at 2nd base. It is the farthest distance from the boxperson.

The 3rd base dealer is the dealer to the left of the boxperson. Any craps player who is on this side of the game will be on the third base. This is best remembered by looking at the field. Number twelve is at the far end of the field, on 3rd base (1+2=3rdbase).

Stickperson is the dealer who moves the dice using a long-hooked stick. The stickperson is located in the middle of the table, opposite the boxperson.

If a player is “straight-out”, they will be located at either the middle or the other end of the table.

To assign players to ratings, supervisors will use their clothing color and the position of the player.

HOW TO PLAY CAPS

There are many exciting aspects to the game of craps. how do you play craps Craps involves rolling a number (a point), with two dice, and then rolling that number again to make a seven. The “shooter” is the person who rolls the dice at craps tables.

The “pucks” signify that the number is the point of the game. This is the number the shooter is trying make before seven rolls.

The puck is “turned off” when the point has been made and the shooter takes the shot again. It’s now a “come-out roll”. This means it’s the start of the game, and there is no point.

The game ends when the next number rolled is a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10. The shooter tries again to score the point before seven. If seven rolls are made before the point, that is a “seven out” and the shooter loses control. We then give the dice to another shooter.

BETTING IN CAPS & CRAPS STATEGY

The most popular craps bets when playing Craps are place bets and pass line. Here are some terms you need to know when playing craps.

Pass Line Betting: Players bet that the first roll will result in 7 or 11 wins, 2, 3 or 12 losses. A number such as 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 rolls is considered a win. The number must be repeated before the seven-to-win rule applies.

Don’t Pass Bet: Player betting on that the first roll will result in 2 or 3 wins, 12 being a push, 7 being a loser, and 7 being a win. A number such as 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 rolls must be rolled before it repeats.

Come Bet: It’s the same as the pass line bet. The same rules apply. It’s a game within the game.

Don’t Come Bet: This bet is similar to the Don’t Pass, and the same rules apply. It’s a game within the game.

Field Bet Player wins if any numbers in the box come out. You can also refer to a field bet as a “ONE ROLL BET.”

Place Betting: Bets on point numbers (4,5, 6, 8, 9, or 10) which are not contract bets. Unless the player requests otherwise, a Place Bet is “off”.

Proposition Bett: One Roll Bet, the numbers are 2,3, 7, 11, and 12.
